2005.

Happy New Year to everyone.

I had a good Christmas and New Year. Very quiet, as I spent it at my parents. They had some friends staying, and it was all quite good fun. I didn't spend much money either, so that was a bit of a bonus. My dad and I started some paving in front of the back door and garage. Though I didn't get it finished, it looked pretty good by the time I had left.

I started back at work on the 5th, and it's been pretty slow. I'm thankfully at the stage now where I don't feel completely new to it anymore, and while it is still a crap job, I can pretty much do as I please now. Frankly, if they don't like what I do, or how I do it, they can sack me. Their loss.

Soph gets back from France on Monday, and is coming to stay in Aberdeen for a while. We are due to visit her sisters for a birthday party next weekend - so that should be good fun. I'm also keen to get away for a week somewhere. Anywhere reallly.

I'm slowly starting to plan Australia. If anyone has any contacts, knows anyone who needs a fairly experienced and enthusiastic worker for either agri work or anything else, please let me know. Additionally if there are other suggestions, tips, tricks and advice, please let me know. I will hopefully arrive there around June or July.

Jan.
