The Christmas Wish List

So with less than a month till Christmas, I compiled a list of the things I'd really rather like. Not that anyone will ever see it anyway..but it beats doing exam revision.

- A sports car.

With my punto fast getting far too old, not to mention uncool - I need a replacement. While ideally I'd have an Aston Martin Vanquish, I'd probably happily settle for a simple mx5.

- CD's

Still looking for a whole bunch of albums that I've not had time or money to buy.
* Nelly Furtado - Loose
* Damien Rice - 9

- DVD

*
Pretty pricey, so any of the series will do. But the box set is cool!

- PC accessories

* Space Navigator
Really cool mouse replacement for designing and navigating through 3D environments.

* Slot 1 motherboard
Capable of taking a PIII-450mhz chip (slot1), bus speed of 100mhz.

More to come.... honest!

Dance 4 Life, Ferenc Puskas & small me

I feel obliged to blog today, even if I haven't done so for weeks upon weeks.

Dance 4 Life

Iniative that grew from Holland aiming to get 1,000,000 young people dancing in the fight against AIDS, by 2012. The first run of events occur next week, with dance events in Amsterdam, London and in front of the Pyramids, Egypt. It all occurs, one week prior to World AIDS day, which I'm sure will gladly benefit from the publicity such events will create.

Puskas dies at 79

One of the greatest footballers that ever lived died today at 79. Hungary and Real Madrid superstar, he was one of the finest talents that has ever graced the game.

Little me

I'm at the end of my 9th week of teaching. It's all going fairly well, but with a lot of work, periodic stress and generally feeling run down. However with just one week to go, and my last assignment due in on Monday things are looking up. Until the exams 2 weeks later I suppose.

Jan.
